Former assistant of Steven Spielberg joins Chainsaw Europe team

Bucharest, July 12, 2006: Talented Jason Keever, former assistant of Steven Spielberg and assistant director of Emmy wining television series “The West Wing” has just joined the Chainsaw Europe post production company as Director of International Sales and Post Production Supervisor for USA and London productions.

With extensive experience in the Hollywood movie industry, Los Angeles based Jason Keever chose Chainsaw Europe as the next step in his career. Jason’s presence in Chainsaw’s team is pretty self explanatory.

Born in North Carolina, United States, Jason graduated with a Journalism and English degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During his studies he acquired the appetite for making movies and left for Los Angeles. He spent the last three years in the movie citadel alongside the world’s biggest movie and television personalities. Never in his wildest dreams did he imagine working for two years as an assistant director for one of Hollywood’s greatest directors – Academy Award-winner Steven Spielberg, involved in the production of “Terminal” movie with Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

He continued his path with a two years experience as assistant director of the Emmy winning NBC’s most-awarded series “The West Wing” and editor at Kodak’s owned company CineSite, one of the largest full service visual-effects and post production facility in the world. Jason made the post production of the biographic drama “Ray”, in which the famous singer Ray Charles is interpreted by Jamie Fox.

As Director of International Sales, Jason will consolidate Chainsaw’s extended international expertise in the commercial, film and corporate sectors and will work closely with Chainsaw Inc. in Los Angeles. “”I’m very excited to be in Bucharest.
